Acrobat Reader DC will not recognize my printer; it says no printer installed or printer not connected, but it is and it works.

Acrobat Reader DC will not recognize my printer; it says no printer installed or printer not connected.  Is there a way to tell Acrobat Reader my printer is hp v40 officejet?
