Acrobat Standard licensed 2007. New machine. Can't install. Have serial number.

Realize this sounds odd. I have had a working copy of Acrobat since 2007. Saved the downloaded software all this time. I have a new machine and want to reinstall. Is this possible?

strictly speaking you can install version 7. But since it cannot be activated it is no use in practice. In any case wouldn't work on modern systems.

Thanks. I give up. I’ll buy an alternative service. Like EpiPens, Acrobat has become too expensive.

There might be an issue with installing old software on a new machine, but beyond that there is nothing prohibiting you from trying.
