Acrobat XI Pro acts like licensed product is a trial version

Three users were provided licenses for Acrobat XI Pro and installed on their computers yesterday. Today, they reported getting a pop up thanking them for using the trial version and to buy a license for DC.

Now I could understand that if they had selected "trial or subscription" when installing at first, but these are licensed versions with serial numbers.

Is there an error being overlooked, or a way to prevent that pop up?

Right, I was more saying that the tie in with the CC trial on the account would make sense.

I'll have to do some digging on their computers.

to completely rid cc from a computer:

uninstall everything cc including as the last uninstall: the cc desktop app, Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

there should be an option to click specifying that you've already purchased and have a serial number.  click it.

Exactly what was chosen.

So the confusing item is why, after a day of use, it asked to purchase a DC license.

i couldn't say without checking your computer and maybe even then i couldn't determine the cause.  but most likely you have/had a cc trial/subscription or acrobat dc trial/sub previously.
