Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional Installation Error 1310

I successfully installed the software from the original CD however the online activation failed due to elimination of support for this version of the Acrobat. So I downloaded the updated Acrobat 7.0 with the new key from the adobe site for PC as instructed. I have the Win 7 Home Premium edition on my SAMSUNG PC. I run the installer and keep getting Error 1310:

Error writing to file C:\program files (x86)\adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX\AcroPDF.DEU - Verify that you have access to directory

Please help. I have been trying to install this for the last three hours!

Thanks.

Hi keyt8995834,

Acrobat 7 is not compatible with Windows 7. It is also an old and unsupported version.

Refer this KB doc: Error 1310.Error writing to file for CS2 install on Win7 for Adobe 7 Pro and check if this helps.

Meenakshi

‌Hi,

I renamed the activeX folder to .old and started the install. It went through this time! So this solution works however the printer error still exists and also I cannot create a combined PDF file from multiple MS Wlied files!

I Get an error that data cannot be found! Is there a fix for that?

thank you.
