Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

We purchased this program a couple years ago and it was installed on an old computer.  We have replaced that computer with a new one, I am trying to reinstall this program with the product key from the old computer onto the new computer and it is not recognizing it as a valid product key.  Can someone please help me with this? I require this program for work.
