Question

Adobe Acrobat DC keeps crashing.

Hi all,

I currently have a full Creative Cloud account, and often use Acrobat DC to do my work. However, every now and then, the program crashes, and I lose everything that I did not save. Please note that the previous owner of this computer used to have a pirated version of Acrobat. I bought the full license for my use, but the app keeps having its problems.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can reinstall the app cleanly or keep these crashes from happening?

Thank you!

I am currently using:

Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.3

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release | Version 2015.010.20056

Hi victor.lee,

Use Creative cloud cleaner tool to uninstall https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and restart your system.

Then install Creative cloud application from here: Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial

Refer this KB doc for further help: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/manage-apps-services-desktop.html

Let us know if you need further help.
