Question

Adobe Acrobat not responding

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on a Windows 10 Pro machine.  I use the comment and edit features frequently -- it is, after all, WHY I paid for Acrobat.  After any editing Acrobat will frequently freeze up, eventually displaying the "not responding" message at the top of the screen.  But when I open task manager, that message is not there.

This has been an ongoing issue for me and others for more than 6 months now.  I need a fix that will result in a stable working environment.  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled once and that worked for a while (till I edited another large file).  Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this and /or when Adobe will be creating this patch?

I haven't done this, but Adobe is working again after an extended period without power.  The problem is I never know when it will fail again -- when I'm working with a client?  I need a system I can rely on. At the moment, Adobe is not that system.

The Adobe Acrobat is version 11.0.15 on Windows 10.0,  Adobe is set to automatically update to the most current version.

I've used most of the methods suggested in the article referenced above in the past and they work, but just temporarily.  Is there something I can do to ensure more stable performance?
