Adobe Acrobat Pro DC closes on it's own

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, updated to the latest subversion.

After you open it, it will close within about 30 seconds -- no messages.

Looking in the event logs at Windows Logs/Applications, only ones I see regarding Adobe are....

The description for Event ID 0 from source Adobe Acrobat cannot be found.

The description for Event ID 0 from source AdobeARMservice cannot be found.

I've tried uninstalling/re-installing, repair installation, made sure it was completely up-to-date, etc.

Windows 7 64-bit

On adobe DC we had problems with the _LicenseAgreement.xml not working

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\_licenseAgreement.xml

When users log into the terminal server they were never prompted to accept the EULA.

We had to manually copy the file into user profiles to correct the issue

problem was the above message in the logs and Adobe closing after 5-30 seconds.

This resolved it for us.

Special Thanks to Heather

Hi regp4rk,

Please try these steps :-

** Restore Preferences :-

1.Choose Start, type reg edit in the Start Search, and then press Enter.

2.In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe

3.Remove the Acrobat preferences registry entries.

After that please check the compatibility mode for Acrobat,If any compatibility is checked please uncheck it. After that run the acrobat as administrator.

If same Issue persist, please check with new user account, Refer to this article for new user account :- https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html

I cannot get 'reg edit' to work for me. The window closes as soon as it opens. What else can I try? (I tried to run it as the administrator as well, same result)
