Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Crashing When Highlighting PDFs

Whenever I'm using the highlight tool to highlight scanned pdfs, DC is crashing after about 5 or so highlights and I have to do Cntrl, Alt, Delete and bring up Task Mgr and shut it down.  It's gotten to where I have to click on save after EVERY highlight or else I lose all of the highlights when it freezes up.  VERY ANNOYING, since I'm having to do this 10+ times per day! 😠

We are running Windows 7 Enterprise where I work.  Thanks for any advice I can give our IT guys.  They are stumped by this as well

- Go to help in acrobat> check for updates >if update pending - download and install it -restart computer and use acrobat now.

- Go to help >repair installation>run the repair(takes 5 minutes max)

- Go to start icon on task bar>click windows icon+R>search for REGEDIT> go to H:KEY:CURRENT USER>SOFTWARE>ADOBE>delete all the files named with  'acrobat' and also delete PDF settings.
