Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows 10 PC - Option to set page size for scanning as A4 is greyed out

I was using my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows 10 PC but when I first installed it the option to select the default page size for scanning as A4 was greyed out. At that time I was allowed to phone Adobe and get support and they fixed it; but I don't know what they did though!

This week I had to reinstall it on a new Windows 10 machine and I have the same problem again, but this time there is no phone support option.

Any ideas what is causing the problem and how to fix it?

Sorry for the issue you are facing. Can you please provide us following information to help us identify and resolve the issue ASAP.

  • Acrobat version
  • Scanner details
  • Screen where A4 option is disable.

    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    2015 release (continuous) ver 2015.010.20060

    Scanner is HP officejet Pro 8600 plus

    The page is Select Tools\Create PDF\Scanner\Configure Presets and the try to select paper size as A4

    Hi Paul,

    This seems quite older version of Acrobat DC. Can you please update the Acrobat once. Go to Help> check for updates
