We have installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro , among others . Over time, the program does not work while the program previously functioned fine. He will not start when double-clicking the icon .

If I remove the program and restart it will work again , but after a while he stop working again .

a common cause of that would be caused by a 'cleaning' tool that removes (what it thinks are unneeded) files freeing harddrive space.

I have been googling for weeks for an answer as to why my Indesign wont save as or export to pdf and my adobe Acrobat wont save as. Your comment about the cleaning tool is the only thing that makes sense to me as I uninstalled some programmes and did a disc clean to make space on my computer and since then my adobe programmes wont work. is there any way I can find out which files were removed?

there might be but it wouldn't be easy and probably wouldn't be helpful.  the only time it's worth trying to track the problem is if it's recurrent.

at this point you should properly uninstall your acrobat (if you can) using the uninstaller.

if windows, clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

restart your computer

reinstall your acrobat.
