Question

Adobe Acrobat X Pro

Hi there,

I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro Student/Teacher version.  It's been working up to now but I installed Exchange Pdf and this programme to try it out

but found it clashed with some of my older pdf's so went back to using Adobe Acrobat.  However, when I re-opened the software the Tools

etc. were no longer working.  When I click on any 'Tool' I just get taken to a site asking me to buy that specific functionality.

Beforehand I could Edit, Delete pages, Insert pages, Combine pdf's, Split pdf's etc.  How on earth do I get this functionality back please?

Thanks for your help - anybody out there!!

Kind regards,

Sheri Markplan

Hi markplan,

Please let me know the exact dot version of Acrobat X & OS installed on your computer?

It might be possible that "Exchange Pdf" is conflicting with your Acrobat application. Please get the compatibility verified with "Exchange Pdf" team.

Aadesh

Hi Aadesh,

The version I have is Adobe Acrobat X Pro and System Requirements are:

1.3GHz or faster processor, Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, or

Tablet PC Edition with Service Pack 3 (32 bit and 64 bit); Windows Server

23003 (32 bit and 64 bit; Service Pack 2 required for 64 bit); Windows

Server 2008 or 2008 R2 (32 bit and 64 bit); Windows Vista Home Basic or

Premiium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with Service Pack 2 (32 bit and

64 bit), Windows 7 Starter, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, or

Enterprise (32 bit and 64 bit).

I have Unistalled Exchange Pdf so there should be no conflict but it seems

as though that programme has 'done something' weird to my computer and

mucked up Adobe Acrobat. Very annoying.

Thanks again,

Sheri
