Adobe Acrobat X Saving Text Issue

When opening a file to Adobe Acrobat then going to the Tasks toolbar...then clicking EDIT FORM. I'm having an issue taking the text that was inserted that way to being saved on the file. It does not work when i export it as a PDF and the text does not show up when i click print.

Form fields are not "normal" static PDF content. You can e.g. configure a form field to only be displayed on screen, but not printed (or vice versa). This information would also not be exported unless you flatten the form field content.

Let's take a step back and find out what exactly you want to accomplish. Are you intending on creating an interactive form field? Did you add the form fields, or are you using a form created by somebody else?

Is it possible that you are dealing with fields that only show on screen, but do not print?
