📄💡 Question for the Adobe Community: Can Adobe Document Generation API support PDF templates directly?

Hey Adobe Community! Based on my research, it appears that creating a PDF template currently requires using a Word template file along with JSON data mapping. However, I'm wondering if there's a way to achieve this same functionality using a PDF template file instead of a Word file.

I understand this functionality is supported through the ANVIL platform. Can anyone confirm if there's a similar solution available through Adobe Document Generation API? I'd appreciate any guidance or insights you can provide!
