Adobe Flash Player in Firefox Won't Update

When opening Firefox 45.01, the an adobe page opens and says that Adobe Flash Player needs updated.  I downloaded the file, installed it, but every time I restart Firefox I get the same webpage saying Fiash Player needs updated because it is out of date on my computer.  Windows 10.  Flash version installed 2.0.0.182.  What is going on?  How do I fix it?
