Adobe PDF Toolbar missing in Firefox 46.0.1?

I own Adobe CS6 Master Collection.

The Adobe PDF Toolbar use to work in Firefox but now it's missing completely and not even listed in the Add-ons, Extensions or Plugins areas.

This has nothing to do with the Adobe PDF Reader or DC Reader or whatever you call it.

No, I don't want to install a Reader.

It's a toolbar that get's installed with the full version of Adobe Acrobat X Pro in IE and Firefox for creating PDFs of web pages.

Where did it go in Firefox?

Why isn't it being displayed?

How do I get it back?

I paid for a product, I expect it to be there.

Simple.

If it's some security issue with my version of Acrobat being old, I expect Adobe to fix it.

I'm not buying the whole suite just to get the toolbar back, you've got to be kidding.

Fire Fox has created its own default PDF viewer and disabled the Adobe Reader plug-in. This action by 3rd party developers is becoming more and more common. Google has also created its own PDF viewer and Window View browser only displays PDFS and removes a lot of interactive features of the PDF.

You might want to check the FireFox forums for more information.

You can EXPECT Adobe to fix new tech issues that come up after support for a product ends all you like, but when Adobe say "support has ended" they mean it.

Try to perform the steps given in the following links :

Enable Acrobat add-on in Mozilla Firefox 43 or higher

Enable Create PDF extension for Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Acrobat

Let us know about the results.
