After working fine from day one, my Adobe XI is not reading my scanner. My scanner will scan as a .PDF though

When I came in this morning to work, my Adobe XI would not read my scanner. I tried scanning from the printer itself to a PDF and that worked. It will also pull up documents and print them.

I updated adobe to its newest version and tried again.

I updated my epson WF-3620 to the newest version and tried again.

Please help
