Hi,

I am wondering if do we have a feature in Adobe that will Bookmark and Link automatically all the Table of Contents, Chapter headings, Section Headings, and even per entry of Indeces? We have a project that requires these features in our PDF files but we are manually doing it currently. So your help and advise would really a BIG help for us.

No, there's no such feature available in Acrobat. It might be possible to achieve it using third-party plugins or scripts, depending on how the file is set up. This is really the kind of things that needs to be set up before the file is converted to a PDF...

To be a bit more specific, PDF is a “final form file format.” In the general case, there is no way for Acrobat to know what a table of contents, chapter heading, section heading, etc. actually are. At a most basic level, what is in a PDF file are one or more pages consisting of runs of text, vector objects, and raster images each at a particular location with certain attributes such as color, size, rotation, etc. Unless structured PDF is used, there is no concept of how all these objects fit together in any organized manner.
