Hello everybody

I have a question to change the document name.

it is possible to change the name of a consultative document automatically? for example with the action assistant?

in the picture below you see "Michael Meier and Marius Hug" "Lieferschein: LF-16-7799" and so on...

Is it possible to take this information from the PDF and insert it into the document name?

The document is scanned and then has a continuous name. this I want to change. of "doc324324.pdf" to "Michael Meier and Marius Hug LF-16-5454.pdf"

is that feasible?

Thanks for your help

This is might be hardly possible to do it but if your scan image name is "Michael Meier and Marius Hug LF-16-5454.jpeg" then obviously it could be automated. When you open up the scan image name call "Michael Meier and Marius Hug LF-16-5454.jpeg" in adobe acrobat and save it, the file name will automatically came up "Michael Meier and Marius Hug LF-16-5454" to save it.

or

The best option is type the file name and save it. that's all upto my knowledge.

or you can use the file name changer software to rename all the file name accordingly.

Thanks

It's only feasible if the document has been successfully OCRed and the text you want to use for the new name can be identified based on its location on the page, its pattern or its textual context. Also, it's not possible to actually rename the file, only to save a copy of it using the new name.
