Blurry text - how to fix?

The text of PDFs opened in Adobe Acrobat X Standard is blurry. The "Smooth images" option was already selected--deselecting it had no effect. My operating system is Windows 10 and I have a high resolution screen. Anyone know what the cause of this problem might be?

Would like to inform that Acrobat Standard X is not compatible with Win 10 & this issue could be the cause of this incompatibility .Refer to this KB article :- Adobe Acrobat system requirements

Meanwhile Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.
