bookmarks not showing

I created bookmarks in a 2,000 page document. I've shared on Dropbox but the bookmarks do not show up for other people. I've also sent it using Adobe Send and the others cannot see bookmarks I created. What am I doing wrong?

Could you please tell what application other people are using to view the document?

What Operating System do you have- Windows/Mac?

Are they not able to see bookmarks even by clicking Bookmarks icon?

i have the similar problem

Acrobat Pro version 9.5.5

Yosemite 10.10.5

i created the pdf with Yosemite 10.10.5.....placed it in Dropbox

and when i reopen it on another mac with the same operating system

the pages do not appear in the bookmark column

there are 3 pages in the pdf

the bookmark column is blank
