Calculating Fields

Question

I am creating a fillable PDF from an excel file.  I want to make adobe calculate some fields for me..When i select the fields to calculate i can not check the box for the desired field.  I tried highlighting it and using the space, i have double clicked and triple clicked but I cant make any selection.  Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue

It might be easiest to just use the simplified field notation option. Some people have had success clicking near the check boxes that are next to the field names in the list, but somewhat outside of the square boundary. You should be able to use the space bar, but the focus has to be on one of the fields in the list. You can use the arrow keyboard keys to navigate up.down the list of fields.
