Calculation fields not updating when rating boxes being calculated are changed?

I've created a number of evaluation forms in Adobe, and having a minor issue with some of the calculation boxes.

In a nutshell, I've got a box at the bottom of the form that calculates a number based upon the ratings from four other boxes in the form.  However when I change one of the four boxes to a different number, the bottom calculation box does not change, unless I delete what is in there and click off to the side, at which point it calculates the new rating.

This wouldn't be a huge issue, but this is one of six similar forms, where the other forms automatically update the overall rating box, when one of the other rating boxes is changed and I click off to the side.

I'm a bit lost because all of the calculations are copied from other forms, so I don't understand why it works on one form, and not the other.

Is this just an issue we have to deal with, or is there something I missed.  If anyone can help, i'm happy to share the forms for review.
