I good reason to use Word Forms is there a lot of users who, believe it or not, haven't downloaded Adobe Reader. But they have Word. If you want to make it easier on technically challenged users, offering a Word form make it easier for them.

Both Word's save as and Adobe's PDF Maker cannot convert a Word form with interactive fields to a PDF form with interactive form. This does not mean that Acrobat would be able to convert an interactive PDF form  to an interactive Word form.

The only office programs that I am aware of that can convert an interactive form into an interactive PDF form are Apache OpenOffice Writer and Libre Office Writer. But neither can convert an interactive PDF back to the original format. Both may have plug-in that could edit a PDF but I am not sure about a PDF form. But if the user saved the original document interactive form one could use that saved file.

If you mean a Word form that includes interactive form fields, the answer is "No". If you mean something else, describe in detail what you'd like the result of the conversion to be.

I'm disappointed because, this is exactly what I mean. I converted a Word form document to PDF and the results are great. I'd like that converted form as an interactive form in Word. Any suggestions as to how to accomplish this.

Thanks

I'm not aware of an automated way to do this, but I do know that Acrobat can't. You may have to add the fields manually in Word.
