I have created bunch of Pdfs using LiveCycle designer. When I try to Edit the pdf using Acrobat Dc or Acrobat Pro I get a warning message. "This form cannot be edited in Adobe Acrobat.  Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer. "

Now that Livecycle is out of support. I am looking answers for below questions.

  1. What replaced LiveCycle?
  2. Can i migrate the existing pdfs to the new tool instead of recreating the complete pdf from scratch ?
  3. I create pdf, Edit/Modify tagging, check 508 compliance and share it to users. which tool takes care of all the features without compatibity issues when shared over multiple teams?

If the forms are static XFA, you can use the free tool I posted here...

http://apps.practicalpdf.com/xfa2pdf/

Upload the LC form, get back an AcroForm.

Thank you.

That might help to deal with the LC forms.

What replaced LiveCycle.? Is it Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 4 or Acrobat Pro DC?

My client uses Acrobat Pro and she also has issues when she try to edit the PDF created using LCD..

We are looking for a common ground to work on these pdfs.
