Can I set Acrobat X to open .TXT files in landscape mode?

I have a .TXT file that is generated daily from our financial software.  In Acrobat 8, the file would automatically open in landscape mode, and everything would fit.  After upgrading to Acrobat X, the file is now opening in portrait mode, and it is too wide, so everything is wrapping.  Is there a way to have Acrobat X open files in landscape mode instead of portrait.  (NOTE:  Rotate does not work - it just turns the wrapped text on its side.)

I think it can be changed, but weirdly, by picking up the convert web page settings. But can't test at the moment.

TXT files do not have any page dimensions, so any selection is arbitrary.

Acrobat will convert them to a default page size (Letter, Portrait), and that can't be changed, as far as I can see.

However, if you print them to the Adobe PDF printer then you could specify any page size you wanted.

You've upgraded to a version already past the end of its life... But you may be able to click a settings button and choose a custom page size. You might have to change the size for Create PDF From Web Page. Someone presumably did this in Acrobat 8 for you, it wasn't automatic.
