General question about PDF-s. I make PDF and set lpi/dpi for output. Can it be change later? Is it just a number that goes with the file? In Acrobat it doesnt look any different.

App and resolution are not in question at the moment, but I see where are you heading at.
Lpi/dpi question is theoretical and is not about any project I am working on.

Again: What app are you printing from?

Previous image was from Adobe Illustrator. It shouldn't change the answer, if someone dares to give one.

‌lpi - don't set it, printing house will.

dpi (ppi) - if vector, irrelevant; if too high, OK; if too low, no, cannot be fixed, your work is wasted. You must fully understand this one.

By lpi/dpi I mean this postscripte printer resolution. Does it affect pdf file or is it just nice to have numbers in file what printing house changes according to their better understanding of paper and ink.
Lets say if it is important setting for designer to get right, then the plagueing use of dpi as ppi could have consequences.

For example printhouse tells me: "Your dpi is way too small, please send proper files fast". Now I start guessing, is my pixel graphics or pdf settings?

‌For your purposes dpi and ppi are the same. lpi is utterly different
