Can't combine PDFs on network share drive Acrobat 11

I can combine PDFs in all network shares but one, I get an error that says:

No PDF file was created because Acrobat encountered an unidentified error.

"Error (file skipped)

No PDF file was created because Acrobat encountered an unidentified error."

I thought I saw something saying this isn't supported on network shares but I can't find anything official.

Permissions have been checked and are good.

Does anyone have official documentation from Adobe to confirm combining PDFs on network shares is not supported?
