Can't use trial (may be due to a previous trial?)

Hi I just signed up for the free Acrobat DC trial and downloaded the desktop version but when I tried to use it I got a message that my trial had expired. It looks like someone else previously had a trial version on the same PC. Could that be why it thought my trial had expired? How to get it to work for my trial period?

OK I found another computer I can use. How do I download the Acrobat DC desktop version?

Who is the "someone else" who used that computer?

Is that YOUR computer, or a work computer or a used computer you bought?

Anyway, only one trial of a program is allowed per computer

No its not my computer I dont know exactly whose it is and I dont know who previously used the trial. Is there a way to erase the record of the trial so I can start my trial? I need acrobat for school and I dont have access a different computer. If I can figure out how to use it I'll probably buy the program since I think I will need it a lot.

Only by completely erasing the entire contents of the computer, including the MBR.
