Can you embed fonts in a pdf after the pdf has been created? I received a pdf from another designer, made a few minor corrections, and now the printer can't use it because the original pdf didn't have all of the fonts embedded. Any ideas?

Use the Preflight feature of Acrobat Pro!

The Embed missing fonts profile in Acrobat Preflight will embed those missing fonts into your PDF file assuming:

(1)     The font(s) in question are installed on your system and

(2)     The font(s) themselves are not protected against embedding (they allow for at least preview and print embedding.
