Cannot change pdf printer paper size from letter

Installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. After that i tried to convert a docx file to pdf with press quality and A4 size. I did the following:

In word, open a .docx file, it is in A4 size. Press ctrl + P to print as pdf. Choose "Adobe PDF" as printer, choose printer properties.

If A4 for example is chosen, then click ok to apply, then go back to printer properties and it is back at Letter. All other options are remembered, Quality, security, output folder etc. even after restart. But Letter cannot be changed with any means. It changes back instantly.
