Cannot create a pdf in Adobe Acrobat X. Used to work fine but now it just freezes up

How do I get to be able to print to pdf again in Adobe Acrobat X Standard?  This process used to work just fine up to a week ago, now when I go to print to pdf I get a Creating Adobe PDF Window that does not progress or nothing at all.  Nothing is printed to pdf.
