Cannot find documentation on Acrobat SDK OCR

The goal is to programmatically OCR documents using Acrobat SDK. The adobe acrobat sdk "getting started" page lists OCR as a feature, however I cannot locate it anywhere in the documentation. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

That's because there is no API to any OCR function. Or so I thought. What the author of that document meant is anyone's guess... they might be confused because it's a product feature (but not automatable).
