cannot print PDF

Everything installed and up to date. When try and print it does nothing.  Not even showing up in the printer que.  Once a PDF opens the curser starts flashing and disappearing and sometimes when you hit the print function the screen goes blank and the pdf disappears only to come back once refreshed.  It is like it is not connecting.  Have gone through all troubleshooting.  Even when saved to hard drive it will not print
