Cannot send emails via outlook 2016 - in Acrobat Pro XI

I have just installed Acrobat Pro XI on  a clean install of Win 10 Pro N but i cannot send emails via outlook 2016 - nothing happens when i click the email icon and select the default mail programme?  Any advice please?

Seriously people... FOLLOW UP YOUR QUESTION WITH A SOLUTION OR LET US KNOW THERE WASN'T A SOLUTION!!!


Repairing the Microsoft Office Suite install fixed the issue for me.

Dear Shivam,

I am simply clicking on the email button on the toolbar, then clicking default email application (Microsoft Outlook) – and then nothing happens – nothing at all.  The same Acrobat package, the same licence from the University, all worked fine in Win 7.  This is a clean install of Win 10 and Office 365 (all licenced and activated), all perfectly working – as it were – but not this option.

Thank you for your time!  Maybe you can think of something.

Hi BCostea

You may uninstall Microsoft Office Suite and then install again using offline installer .Use the Office 2016 offline installer - Office Support .

To uninstall the Microsoft office suite -Go to Control Panel>Programs & Features>Select  Microsoft Office>Right click and then Uninstall.

Restart the pc.Then run the Microsoft office offline installer .
