Clear Printer Job Control from Windows Registry

I was deleting old software entries in Windows 7 Registry (regedit) and came across a the Printer Job Control for Adobe Acrobat Distiller with a list of old PDF files from recent to several years ago. I did not realize that Adobe created the registry entries for each print jobs.

How do I prevent this and easily clear the registry entries without having to clear them?

What is the purpose of this Printer Job Control registry entries when the output to PDF file is successful?

The location, while I am using Windows 10 here, is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Distiller\PrinterJobControl. There are different data values ranged from 2 to 44, assuming for the file name?

I deleted one registry entry from the most recent print and the PDF file opened and closed OK.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I wish this forum were closed down. This is the forum for Distiller SERVER, a product discontinued more than 10 years ago. So nobody comes here. But the forum comes up in searches, and so gets questions, which don't get answered. Worst of all, sometimes forum moderators think this is a good forum to move posts to!

* If you have a product with Acrobat, printing to PDF, or Distiller in Acrobat, look at the forum list here: https://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat
* If you want Distiller on a server, Acrobat is not licensed, so look for the product LiveCycle PDF Generator.
