Comment hangs for up to a minute before opening

In Acrobat DC, it takes up to a minute for the Comments sidebar to open. This is happening on two different Macs, one running Yosemite and the other El Capitan. It started around March 2016. The rest of the functionality is fine. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks, Will
