Comments plug-in not working

Comments plug-in not working in acrobat DC I think it has stop due to a update.

I type in text all looks fine as soon as I click off it has gone, if I click back on it, it is there.

I use comment for job numbers when print.

Found a work round to add text just use Fill & Sign seem to work.
