Conditional formatting

I have created a finance application form with fillable fields. However I would like to be able to have a drop down list for number of applicants.  I then want to format the form so that if there is only 1 applicant it shows fields only for 1 person to complete.  If there are 2 applicants it automatically adds fields for 2 applicants to complete, etc. etc.

Is this able to be done and if so can anybody help with how I go about this.
