If you are on a Mac, one way is to multiple-select the images in the Finder. Then drag them onto the Acrobat icon in the Dock. When you get the alert asking if you want them to be in one file, select No.

I believe it is similar in Windows. It might be multiple select and then right-click or drag to the Acrobat Window.
