How to save the recognized file to a searchable PDF?   I lost all the searchable words once I save it.

You  can follow the steps to concert a PDF(image) into searchable Text

- Open PDF

- Go to Tools> Enhance Scan> Recognize Text

- Select 'In this file' menu item

- Click Settings and select language(if you want to run OCR in other than default language)

- Click 'Recognize Text' button

Now you can use Find/Search/Select options to use text. Hope it will resolve your problem.

Thanks.

If the PDF page content is the image of text (the output of a scanner) then you can use Acrobat Standard DC or Acrobat Pro DC OCR feature. Alternatively Adobe provides an online subscription service that will provide OCR.

OCR output supports use of Find / Search.

Please note that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC does not support OCR - Reader is a passive PDF viewer. It provides (on the right side panel) links to Adobe online subscription services that do some (but not all) of what Acrobat provides.

Be well...
