Question

Convert Webpage to PDF has missing background and black squares on animated images

I am trying to use the Adobe Acrobat plugin for Google Chrome to convert a webpage to a PDF for archiving purposes only (i.e. to take a snapshot in time of the webpage). I have changed the page layout to custom and manually set the width to get the actual width of the website in the PDF so that it does not wrap the text and images. But the background of the webpage is not captured and turns out white in the converted PDF file. Can this be corrected to snapshot the whole webpage screen?

Also Video or animated button images turn out as black squares in the converted PDF. I have tried disabling embedding video and links, but the first displayed image is not captured in the converted PDF. Is there a way of achieving this?

Basically I want to capture the website as it is on how I see on screen to PDF. Is this achievable with Adobe Acrobat?

System Details & Versions:-

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2015.010.20060

Using Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise Edition

Browser Google Chrome Version 50.0.2661.94

To answer your question most website don't convert %100.

This link below show a black box where the video is:-

BBC - BBC micro:bit launches to a generation of UK students - Media Centre

This link fails to capture the background of the webpage, as well as many other website.

BBC micro:bit : home

For £13 a month you would think this add-in would work %100.
