converted word document shows more bottom margin

When I convert my WORD document which is a 6x9 novel into Adobe, it adds an extra inch of margin in the bottom.  I have the custom page size set correctly, there are no added margins in the Adobe print dialogue  Why does it do this and how do I get it to just print what I have in my original word document
