Converting a PDF as an image

Hi

I would like to convert a pdf to either a JPEG or PNG....I go through the 'save as' process but nothing appears in my folders...any help would be appreciated! (I am using a Mac.)

Hi

I have just resolved this by opening up the PDF in Photoshop and have converted into a JPEG! 

Not sure why i couldn't do this in AdobePDF function though!!
