Crashing of Adobe Acrobat on Sonoma 14.1.1.
Hi Developers,
I have just seen the possible reason for the crash or non startup of Adobe Acrobat Pro, scroll down to an excerpt from the crash report in Blue Writing, where it speaks of CPU% average use going above 50.
I really need your help and I hope you can help me rectify this problem as I am paying for Adobe Acrobat every month.
I have an older imac mid 2010 with some hardware upgrades.
CPU core i7 870, but only 1st generation.
Graphics Card a new GCN4 AMD Radeon Pro WX4150 4GB.
SSD Drive
OpenCore Legacy Patcher to enable Sonoma 14.1.1 to run.
So Adobe Acrobat can run on MacOS Monterey perfectly with OpenCore Legacy Patcher. So that does not seem to be the issue.
But Adobe often will not even start up on Sonoma or Ventura MacOS. I can watch Activity Monitor the CPU Usage climbs to 100 and then Adobe Acrobat Pro crashes and says Adobe not responding and the CPU usage will stay at 100 and not go down or up (it will fluctuate by about 5 CPU point up or down but mostly stays at the 100 CPU usage area and it will stay like that forever until I force quit the Adobe).
Interestingly I have seen Microsoft OneDrive climb to 240 CPU usage and no problem.
Just a thought, can Adobe Acrobat be programmed so that it can use unlimited CPU resources?
I will include the crash report below.
I have seen other applications like OneDrive climb to 240 CPU % Average no problem.

I also have a very long Diagnostic Report with a .hang extension but this place will not allow me to drop the file below, it says we do not accept file reports with a. .hang. extension.
If you need it I can possibly email it yo you.
