Create a dropdown menu in one field based on the value of another dropdown field

Question

I am trying to create a dropdown menu for one field based upon the value of another field which is set from a menu.

If Event = Oktoberfest then it should provide a menu for the "Shift Field" of "1" , "2", or "3".

I saw an earlier post but it didn't solve the problem. I need to know what type of field each of the them needds to be in order for this to work.

Do you mean you want to set the values of a drop-down field based on the value entered in another drop-down?
