Create buttons that can be deselected?

I'm creating a questionnaire for new clients and have several sections that have checkboxes for the new client to check.

So, i've got all of the checkboxes setup. When i preview the form, i can select them, but i can't deselect them. I'd like to be able to allow the client to deselect any checkbox in case they check one by accident or change their mind. Is there a way to achieve this without having to erase the inputted data and start from scratch?

Thank you for any and all guidance!!

I think the form wizard automatically made them radio buttons now that i'm looking at it. Is there a way to change them to buttons without having to redo the wizard? ..."redo the wizard?"
