Create multiple PDF tickets from spreadsheet

Hi! For a congress I'm helping organise we have created an e-ticket in PDF. It has one box where we can type in the attendee's name, so we can create custom e-tickets. The problem is that we have over 300 people who need an e-ticket like this, and only a limited amount of time to create all the PDFs. Is it possible to automate the importing of information for each ticket buyer from an excel spreadsheet, create a new pdf file for each row, and then save them as individual PDFs?

Yes, certainly. This process is called a "Mail Merge". You can do it in Excel or Word using some versions of the Acrobat PDFMaker plugin, or by using a script, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Mail Merge and Email
