Hi mikes84641121935 ,

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows10. It may or may not work.

Please refer to this article: Adobe Acrobat system requirements

You can launch scanner's interface by going into Start menu or from Control Panel.  When you first connect your printer/scanner to your computer via USB or Wireless, scanner's driver get installed and allows you to scan from its native interface. You can find it in All Programs under Start menu in Windows.

For ex. if you have HP Scanner, click on Start and type hp scan. Also, you can navigate to Control Panel and can perform scan function from there. Hold down the Windows key and then press R on your keyboard, type control in the run dialogue box, search and click Devices and Printers>select your scanner and right click on it. Try to scan from there and let us know if you are able to do so.

Also, you may try to repair Acrobat installation, launch Acrobat and navigate to Help menu> and click Repair Installation, after repair, restart Acrobat and check if you are able to scan.

Hi mikes84641121935 ,

Could you please let us know the operating system installed on the computer?

What is the dot version of Acrobat 9 Pro?

Are you able to create pdf from scanner in Color?

Try to scan in Black and White from scanner's interface itself.

Let us know about the results.

Thank You,

Shivam
