Question

Creating links that do not fail when new pages are inserted

I would like to insert several pages, at different times, into a multipage document, and link from one page to each of the newly added pages. I am able to make this work for one occasion, but thereafter when I add new pages the page numbers change and my links fail. This is a book of blueprints, and I would like to add changes that apply to any given page, and link to the changes from the original page. I know I could do this over a cloud... I know I can use attachments,... but what I'd like to do is have one file that is easy to navigate on a tablet in the field. Any suggestions? **I'm using Acrobat DC.

Use Named Destinations and link to them instead of to page numbers.
